How to Use: 1. Fill the reservoir with lukewarm water. You can add mouthwash for added benefits, but it's not essential.
2. Insert the tip firmly onto the handle.
3. Select the pressure setting. Start with the lowest setting and gradually increase as needed.
4. Lean over the sink and place the tip in your mouth. 5. Turn the unit on. 6. Close your lips slightly to prevent splashing, but allow the water to flow out of your mouth into the sink. 7. Starting with the back teeth, aim the tip at the gumline.
8. Pause briefly between each tooth. 9. Continue until you have cleaned all areas around your upper and lower teeth. 10. Empty any remaining water from the reservoir and tip after each use.
Recommended Frequency: Use once daily, preferably after brushing and before flossing with traditional floss if desired.
Additional Tips: For optimal results, use the Waterpik after each meal.
If you experience any discomfort, reduce the pressure setting.
