Directions for Use:

Peel off one side of the protective backing and position the dressing over the wound, ensuring the adhesive side is facing down. 4. Smooth the dressing down firmly, removing any air bubbles and ensuring good contact with the skin. 5. Remove the remaining protective backing.

Recommended Frequency:

Leukomed T dressings can be left in place for several days, depending on the amount of exudate. Typically, dressings can be changed every 2-7 days, or as needed. Consult a healthcare professional for specific guidance based on your individual needs.

Additional Tips:

1. Ensure the wound area is completely dry before applying the dressing to promote optimal adhesion and prevent bacterial growth. 2. Do not stretch the dressing during application, as this can reduce its effectiveness. 3. Avoid applying the dressing over hairy areas, if possible. If application over hair is necessary, clip the hair short to minimize discomfort upon removal. 4. If the dressing becomes loose or soiled, replace it promptly. 5. For optimal catheter or compress fixation, ensure the dressing extends beyond the edges of the device. 6. Consult with a healthcare professional if you experience any signs of infection, such as increased pain, redness, swelling, or discharge.
