Directions for Use:

1. Clean the wound: Gently clean the affected area with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean cloth.
2. Prepare the plaster: Open the individual sachet containing the Hartmann Plastic Plaster. Peel back the protective paper from one side of the adhesive strip, being careful not to touch the adhesive pad itself.
3. Apply the plaster: Center the adhesive pad over the wound and gently press the adhesive strip onto the skin, smoothing it down from the center outwards. Peel back the remaining protective paper from the other side of the adhesive strip and press down to secure the plaster in place.
4. Smooth and secure: Ensure the plaster adheres firmly to the skin around the wound, creating a protective seal.

Recommended Frequency:

Change the plaster daily, or more frequently if it becomes soiled or wet. Inspect the wound regularly. If signs of infection develop (increased pain, swelling, redness, pus), discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.

Additional Tips:

1. For optimal adhesion, ensure the skin is clean and dry before applying the plaster. 2. Do not stretch the plaster tightly during application, as this may restrict blood flow. 3. Avoid applying lotions or creams to the wound area before applying the plaster, as this may affect adhesion. 4. Store plasters in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. 5. If the wound is deep, heavily bleeding, or shows signs of infection, seek medical advice immediately. These plasters are intended for minor cuts and scrapes only.
