With the performance of our daily activities, it is normal to suffer minor injuries, such as cuts, burns or abrasions. In case they do not require urgent medical attention, we can treat them at home, cleaning them well, disinfecting them and covering them with a dressing. PiC Aquabloc sterile post-operative dressing with bactericide helps to protect wounds from trauma or after water surgery. Their transparent and breathable polyurethane support makes them ideal for post-operative treatment. Take care of your wounds with PiC Aquabloc! Carefully peel back the protective paper backing of the plaster, avoiding touching the adhesive surface.
Position the pad directly over the wound, ensuring it's centered.
Smooth down the adhesive edges of the plaster, pressing firmly to create a secure, waterproof seal.
Make sure there are no wrinkles or air pockets. For optimal results, change the plaster every 24-48 hours, or more frequently if it becomes soiled or the wound is weeping.
It's crucial to monitor the wound for signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, pain, or discharge. If any of these occur, consult a healthcare professional immediately.
This type of plaster is designed for single use only. Do not reuse.
