Creed was founded in 1760 by James Henry Creed, quickly becoming a favourite of the English Court. Queen Victoria, Empress of India, appointed them as an official supplier to the Royal Household.
Thereafter, the House of Creed was sought after by all the courts of Europe: from Napoleon III and Empress Eugénie, to Franz Joseph and Elisabeth of Austria-Hungary, and Queen Christina of Spain. Their creations were renowned for their quality, elegance, and originality.
In 1854, Empress Eugénie moved to Paris, and the firm followed. Due to the exquisite nature of its fragrances, Creed rapidly gained fame. Frequented by a discerning clientele, the brand created unique perfumes, true works of art in composition, tailored to each individual's preference.
Over 200 handcrafted and exclusive formulas have been created. The formulas are crushed, mixed, macerated, and filtered by hand, adhering to the pure tradition of founder James Henry Creed.
Passed down from father to son, and currently in the hands of Olivier Creed, sixth-generation master perfumer, Creed remains a staunch advocate for the use of natural ingredients.

Top Notes: The initial burst of bright, zesty grapefruit provides an immediate invigorating freshness. This citrus opening is further enhanced by the familiar juicy sweetness of pineapple, creating a vibrant and energetic first impression.
Heart Notes: As the top notes subside, the heart of the fragrance reveals a captivating interplay between smoky Haitian vetiver and the lingering sweetness of pineapple. The addition of earthy patchouli adds depth and complexity to this central accord, creating a captivating and sophisticated aroma.
Base Notes: The long-lasting base of Absolu Aventus is characterized by the persistent smokiness of the Haitian vetiver, which intertwines with the other elements to create a rich and enduring dry down. While not explicitly mentioned, the original Aventus features base notes of ambergris, oakmoss, and vanilla, and it's possible these are also present in Absolu Aventus, contributing to its overall longevity and depth. This combination results in a truly unforgettable olfactory experience.
