First, ensure the candle is placed on a stable, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials, drafts, and out of reach of children and pets.
Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (5mm). This prevents smoking and ensures a cleaner, brighter burn.
Light the candle and allow it to burn for at least two hours on the first use, or until the entire surface of the wax has melted. This prevents tunneling and ensures the candle burns evenly throughout its life.
For subsequent uses, burn for 2-3 hours at a time. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
To extinguish, use a candle snuffer to avoid splattering wax.
Allow the candle to cool completely before moving it.
