Eating foods containing maltitol instead of sugar results in a lower increase in blood glucose after ingestion compared to foods containing sugar. These biscuits are made with a mixture of vegetable oils, sunflower and olive, from crops, which naturally contains oleic acid, a type of fat characteristic of the Mediterranean diet, suitable for a healthy diet.
INGREDIENTS:
Wholemeal wheat flour (70%), sweetener (maltitol syrup), vegetable oils (sunflower and olive), fructooligosaccharides, emulsifier, colouring, raising agent, flavouring, antioxidant, folic acid.
