Our history

In 2007, BeautyTheShop launched its online platform with the aim of ensuring that all our customers could find their perfect niche fragrance, wherever they were. Online, we offer a friendly, simple and fast shopping experience, providing access to more than 1,200 fragrances from the most sought-after and exclusive perfume houses, making us the largest catalogue of niche and designer perfumes in Europe.

After years of effort and dedication, beautytheshop.com has become a reference point for perfume enthusiasts. In Spain, BeautyTheShop is the number one online shop for niche and designer perfumery, with a presence in over 30 countries. Following our digital beginnings, in 2011 we opened our BeautyTheShop Bib-Rambla Boutique in the heart of Granada. The boutique is set in a unique environment and is the only niche perfumery where brands share the space with archaeological remains of the Alhambra. Through the glass floor, customers can view remains of the main defensive wall of the Medina al-Garnata (Granada) and the Tower of the Gate of Bab al-Ramla. A unique setting where exclusive scents are enriched with emotions and history.

Our team

• Our product department discovers new niche and designer perfumes every day and adds them to the catalogue, making BeautyTheShop a point of reference.
• At our head office, we have our own automated warehouse and a multidisciplinary team made up of IT engineers, community managers, designers, customer service, logistics, finance and operations management.
• The boutique staff receive ongoing training to stay informed about new launches and the unique characteristics of each niche fragrance. With their experience and language skills, they provide a personalised, high-quality shopping experience and take part in fragrance tastings and meetings with perfumers.
• The recording and content department supports each launch with carefully planned marketing, widely shared across our social networks (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube).

Social responsibility

• We support all BeautyTheShop employees in their projects by promoting work–life balance and remote working, creating a safe work environment and encouraging continuous learning.
• We share our values with suppliers and partners in order to achieve the set objectives. We have a waste recycling plan that is constantly being improved, and we work with transport companies that are part of the low-carbon e-commerce programme.
• We collaborate with non-profit organisations such as SOS Children’s Villages and the Fundación Empresa y Juventud, whose employees are young people facing different social and cognitive challenges.
