TOSFAES MelPROTECT cough is a syrup based on natural ingredients indicated for the treatment of dry and productive coughs.
What is the difference between these types of cough?
- Productive (or wet) cough: it is produced to expel mucus from the lungs or throat to the outside.
- Dry cough (or unproductive, nervous or irritable cough) is a type of cough without mucus or phlegm. It consists of a repetitive and persistent spasm, reflex or voluntary, that irritates the throat causing constant pain or itching, and triggering what is known as a "vicious coughing cycle".

Directions for Use: 1. Open the bottle. 2. Using the measuring cup provided, measure the recommended dose. 3. Take the syrup orally. 4. Close the bottle tightly after each use.


Recommended Frequency: Adults: Take 10ml of syrup three times a day. Do not exceed the recommended dose unless advised by a healthcare professional.
This product is intended for adults only. Consult a doctor before administering to children or adolescents.


Additional Tips: 1. Shake the bottle well before each use. 2. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children. 3. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult a doctor. 4. Do not use if the safety seal is broken or missing. 5. Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or taking any other medications. 6. Drink plenty of fluids while taking this syrup to help loosen mucus (in case of a productive cough). 7. This syrup is intended to relieve cough symptoms. If you have a high fever, difficulty breathing, or other serious symptoms, seek immediate medical attention.
