Directions for Use:
1. Before first use, clean the thermometer tip with a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol. 2. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the ON/OFF button. 3. Wait for the display to show "L°C" or "L°F" and a flashing temperature reading. 4. Choose your preferred measurement site: Oral, Axillary (armpit), or Rectal.
5. Oral Measurement: Place the thermometer tip under the tongue, towards the back of the mouth. Close your mouth and breathe normally.
6. Axillary Measurement: Place the thermometer tip in the armpit and ensure good contact with the skin by holding the arm close to the body.
7. Rectal Measurement: Apply a small amount of water-based lubricant to the tip. Gently insert the tip into the rectum no more than 1 cm.
8. Keep the thermometer in place until you hear a beep, indicating the measurement is complete. 9. Read the temperature on the display. 10. Turn off the thermometer by pressing the ON/OFF button. Clean the thermometer tip again after each use.
Recommended Frequency:
As needed to monitor body temperature. For illness, follow your healthcare provider's recommendations.
Additional Tips:
1. For accurate readings, wait at least 30 minutes after eating, drinking, or exercising before taking your temperature. 2. Do not bite the thermometer. 3. Store the thermometer in its protective cover in a cool, dry place. 4. Replace the battery when the low battery symbol appears. 5. Consult your healthcare provider if you have any concerns about your temperature readings.
