Directions for Use:
1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. 2. Disinfect the thermometer tip with isopropyl alcohol (70%) and allow it to dry completely. 3. For oral use, place the thermometer tip under the tongue towards the back of the mouth. Close your lips gently around the thermometer and keep it in place until it beeps.
4. For axillary (armpit) use, ensure the armpit is dry. Place the thermometer tip in the armpit and hold the arm firmly against the body until it beeps.
5. After the beep, remove the thermometer and read the temperature displayed on the screen. 6. Clean the thermometer tip again with isopropyl alcohol and store it safely in its protective case.
Recommended Frequency:
As needed to monitor body temperature. For general wellness checks, once daily is usually sufficient. If you are feeling unwell, monitor your temperature more frequently as directed by a healthcare professional.
Additional Tips:
Do not use the thermometer if the tip is damaged.
Keep the thermometer out of reach of children.
Do not drop or expose the thermometer to extreme temperatures.
For accurate readings, wait at least 30 minutes after eating, drinking, or exercising before taking your temperature.
Consult your doctor if you have any concerns about your temperature readings.
