How to use:
1. Wash the thermometer tip with warm, soapy water and rinse thoroughly. 2. Turn on the thermometer by pressing the power button. 3. For axillary measurement, place the tip under the armpit and ensure good contact with the skin. Keep the arm close to the body.
4. For oral measurement, place the tip under the tongue towards the back of the mouth. Keep the mouth closed.
5. For rectal measurement (for infants only), apply a small amount of petroleum jelly to the tip. Gently insert the tip no more than 1/2 inch into the rectum.
6. Wait until the thermometer beeps to signal the completion of the measurement. 7. Read the temperature displayed on the screen. 8. Turn off the thermometer and clean the tip again.
Recommended frequency:
As needed to monitor body temperature. For infants and young children, consult a pediatrician for guidance on monitoring frequency during illness.
Additional tips:
1. Do not use the thermometer if it is damaged. 2. Store the thermometer in a safe place, away from children. 3. For accurate readings, ensure proper placement of the thermometer tip as described above. 4. If you are unsure about the reading, consult a healthcare professional. 5.
