Braun disposable lens filters enable accurate and hygienic temperature taking. It’s important that the Braun ThermoScan® lens filter on the temperature sensor is replaced every time a reading is taken. Disposable lens filters ensure hygienic use without having to clean or disinfect the sensor and virtually eliminate cross contamination. What’s more, fitting a new Braun lens filter each time ensures that dirt or ear wax don’t build up and clog the sensor window, which could lead to inaccurate temperature readings.

Directions for Use: 1. Ensure your Braun ThermoScan® thermometer is turned off. 2. Place a new Braun LF40 lens filter firmly onto the probe tip, ensuring it clicks into place. 3. You will hear a click when the filter is securely attached. 4. Take the temperature reading according to your thermometer's instructions. 5. Immediately after use, remove and discard the used lens filter by pulling it straight off the probe. 6. Do not reuse lens filters.
Recommended Frequency: Use a new lens filter for every temperature reading.
Additional Tips: 1. Always store lens filters in a clean, dry place. 2. Never attempt to clean or disinfect a used lens filter. 3. Using a new lens filter each time ensures accurate readings and prevents the spread of germs. 4. Check the lens filter is securely attached before each use. 5. If the lens filter is damaged or torn, do not use it. Replace it with a new one. 6. Keep lens filters out of reach of children.
