Mepiform is a fine and discreet dressing designed for the treatment of hypertrophic and keloid scars, both new and old. It can also be used as prophylactic therapy in closed wounds to prevent the formation of hypertrophic scars or keloids. With Safetac, it also minimizes pain when changing the dressing. Features:    • Mepiform has demonstrated its effectiveness in the treatment of pigmentation, extent and thickness of scars.    • It adapts to the contours of the body, without the need for additional fixation.    • Clinically proven efficacy.    • It can be worn during daily activities and replaced.

Directions for Use: 1. Clean and dry the scar area thoroughly. 2. Cut Mepiform to a size slightly larger than the scar, leaving at least 1cm overlap. 3. Remove the protective release liner. 4. Apply Mepiform directly to the scar, ensuring it adheres smoothly without wrinkles. 5. Gently press down the edges to secure the dressing. 6. Mepiform can be worn for up to 7 days, but can be replaced sooner if needed.


Recommended Frequency: For optimal results, Mepiform should be worn continuously for 24 hours a day. It can be removed briefly for showering or bathing, but should be reapplied immediately afterwards. Treatment duration varies depending on the scar's maturity and individual response, but typically ranges from 2 to 6 months for best results.


Additional Tips: 1. For optimal adhesion, avoid applying lotions, creams, or ointments to the scar area before applying Mepiform. 2. If Mepiform becomes difficult to remove, soak the area with warm water to loosen the adhesive. 3. Mepiform can be worn under clothing and during most daily activities. 4. If the scar is located in a high-friction area (e.g., joints), consider using additional fixation methods such as medical tape. 5. Consult with a healthcare professional if you experience any skin irritation or discomfort while using Mepiform. 6. Mepiform is designed for use on closed wounds and should not be applied to open or infected wounds. 7. For hypertrophic or keloid scars, starting treatment early can improve outcomes.

Ingredients: Safetac silicone, polyurethane film. WARNINGS: Do not use on open wounds, burns, or skin that is not fully healed.
