Directions for Use:
1. Cleanse the wound: Thoroughly clean the wound and surrounding skin with a suitable antiseptic solution and allow to dry completely.
2. Open the packaging: Carefully open the sterile packaging of the Cosmopor Entry dressing, avoiding touching the inner surface of the dressing.
3. Apply the dressing: Place the absorbent side of the dressing directly onto the wound, ensuring it covers the entire wound area and extends slightly beyond the edges.
4. Secure the dressing: Secure the dressing in place with medical tape or a bandage. Ensure the dressing is not applied too tightly to restrict blood flow.
5. Smooth the dressing: Gently smooth the dressing to ensure good contact with the wound and minimize wrinkles.
Recommended Frequency:
Change the dressing as needed, typically once or twice a day, or more frequently if the wound is heavily exudating. Inspect the wound regularly for signs of infection or other complications.
Additional Tips:
1. Do not reuse dressings: Always use a fresh dressing each time you change it.
2. Avoid touching the wound: Refrain from touching the wound directly to minimize the risk of infection.
