1. Ensure the skin is clean and dry before applying the tape.
2. Measure and cut the required length of Leukotape. 3. Round the edges of the tape to prevent peeling. 4. Apply the tape with appropriate tension, avoiding wrinkles or creases. 5. For support bandaging, overlap the tape by approximately 50%. 6. For rigid strapping, ensure firm and even pressure. 7. If used for wound care, ensure the wound is properly dressed before applying the tape.
Recommended Frequency:
Leukotape can be worn for several days, depending on the application and level of activity. Replace the tape if it becomes loose, soiled, or loses its adhesive properties. Consult with a healthcare professional for specific guidance on frequency of use for your particular condition.
Additional Tips:
1. Avoid applying the tape directly over open wounds or irritated skin. 2. If redness, itching, or discomfort occurs, remove the tape immediately and consult a healthcare professional. 3.
