High-quality, high-strength plaster bandage. Made of 100% cotton leno (interwoven gauze), impregnated with plaster of strictly controlled granulometry and quality. It is rolled up in a cylindrical plastic tube. Setting time of 100 to 150 s, in water at 25ºC, it sets quickly, although it leaves enough time for a perfect moulding.

Instructions for Use:


1. Preparation: Ensure the area to be bandaged is clean and dry.
2. Water Temperature: Immerse the unopened bandage roll in lukewarm water (approximately 25°C) until air bubbles stop rising.
3. Gentle Squeezing: Gently squeeze the roll to remove excess water. Avoid twisting or wringing, as this can damage the bandage and affect its setting time.
4. Application: Apply the bandage smoothly and evenly to the affected area, overlapping each layer by approximately two-thirds of its width. Mold the bandage to the desired shape as you apply it.
5. Setting Time: Allow the bandage to set completely. This typically takes between 100 and 150 seconds at 25°C.
6. Padding (Optional): For added comfort, a layer of padding can be applied under the bandage, especially over bony prominences.

The frequency of bandage changes depends on the specific medical condition and should be determined by a healthcare professional. Generally, plaster bandages are changed as needed, when soiled, or when loosening occurs.
