Directions for Use:
1. Clean and dry the wound area thoroughly. Ensure the skin is free from any creams, lotions, or oils.
2. Cut a piece of Fixomull™ Transparent slightly larger than the wound.
3. Remove the protective backing paper from the adhesive film.
4. Apply Fixomull™ Transparent over the wound, ensuring it adheres smoothly to the surrounding skin. Avoid stretching the film.
5. Smooth out any air bubbles or wrinkles to ensure proper adhesion.
6. Trim any excess film if necessary.
Recommended Frequency:
Fixomull™ Transparent can be left in place for several days, depending on the wound's condition and the amount of exudate. Change the dressing when it becomes loose, soiled, or as directed by a healthcare professional.
Additional Tips:
For wounds located on joints or areas of high movement, consider rounding the edges of the film to prevent premature lifting.
Do not apply Fixomull™ Transparent to infected wounds. Consult a healthcare professional if you notice signs of infection, such as increased pain, redness, swelling, or pus.
If the film becomes difficult to remove, moisten it with warm water to loosen the adhesive.
