Apply the tape firmly but without excessive tension, following the contours of the body. 5. Overlap each layer of tape by approximately half its width to ensure secure adhesion. 6. Avoid applying the tape directly over wounds or irritated skin. 7. If necessary, secure the ends of the tape with additional adhesive strips.
Recommended Frequency: The frequency of changing the tape depends on the specific application and clinical needs. Consult with a healthcare professional for guidance on the appropriate frequency for your individual situation. Generally, the tape can be left in place for several days, but should be changed if it becomes soiled, loose, or causes discomfort.
Additional Tips: 1. Store Omnifix Elastic in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. 2. Avoid stretching the tape excessively during application, as this can reduce its adhesive strength and cause discomfort. 3. If removing hair from the application area, do so at least 24 hours prior to applying the tape to minimise skin irritation. 4. For optimal adhesion, apply the tape at room temperature. 5.
