Instructions for Use:
Cold Therapy: 1. Place the gel bag in the freezer for at least two hours before use. 2. Remove the bag from the freezer and wrap it in a thin towel to prevent direct skin contact and potential cold burns. 3. Apply the wrapped gel bag to the affected area for 15-20 minutes. 4. Repeat as needed, allowing at least 20 minutes between applications.
Heat Therapy: 1. Hot Water Method: Boil water and let it cool slightly. Immerse the gel bag in the hot water for 8-10 minutes. 2. Microwave Method: Heat the gel bag in the microwave for short intervals (15-30 seconds), checking its temperature frequently to avoid overheating. Never heat for more than 1 minute at a time. 3. Wrap the heated gel bag in a thin towel. 4. Apply the wrapped gel bag to the affected area for 15-20 minutes. 5. Repeat as needed, allowing at least 20 minutes between applications.
Recommended Frequency:
The Corysan Hot-Cold Gel Bag can be used several times a day, as needed. Ensure a minimum of 20 minutes between applications to allow your skin to return to normal temperature.
