Directions for Use:
1. Preparation: Before starting, perform a patch test 48 hours prior to application to check for any allergic reactions. Protect your clothing and work surface by covering them with an old towel or cape.
2. Mixing: Following the instructions included in the product packaging, carefully mix the color developer and the color cream in the provided applicator bottle or bowl. Ensure they are thoroughly combined.
3. Application to Unwashed Hair: Apply the mixture to dry, unwashed hair. For first-time applications, start applying the mixture from the roots to the ends, ensuring even distribution.
4. Development Time: Leave the mixture on your hair for 30 minutes. For root touch-ups, apply the mixture only to the new growth and leave it on for 20 minutes.
5. Distribution to Ends: After the initial development time, if you are doing a full head application, distribute the remaining mixture towards the ends of your hair using a comb. Leave on for an additional 10 minutes.
6. Rinsing: After the total development time, rinse your hair thoroughly with lukewarm water until the water runs clear. Then, wash your hair with a neutral shampoo.
7. Conditioning: Apply the provided after-color conditioner or a conditioner specifically designed for color-treated hair. Leave it on for the recommended time and rinse thoroughly.
Recommended Frequency:
For permanent color, reapplication is typically recommended every 4-6 weeks, or as needed for root touch-ups to maintain the desired color and cover new growth.
Additional Tips:
1. Always perform a patch test before each application, even if you have used the product before.
2. Use gloves provided in the kit to protect your hands during the application process. 3. Avoid contact with eyes. If contact occurs, rinse immediately with plenty of water. 4. For best results, use Farmatint shampoos and conditioners specifically designed for color-treated hair to help maintain color vibrancy and shine. 5. Store the product in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of reach of children.
