During the summer of 1937, Albert met in the French Riviera a young man called John F. Kennedy. Kennedy fell in love with his perfume, so he asked Fouquet for a sample to try it. Albert didn’t hesitate and immediately gave him one as a gift. Back in his country, Kennedy wrote a letter to Albert asking him for eight more samples and one more for Bob. Albert didn’t know who Bob was, but either way, he sent the perfumes with “Eight and Bob” on the label. After his death, his butler took charge of the production of perfumes, which was also interrupted by the Second World War. Some years later, the butler’s family found the fragrances hidden in books and decided to resume its fabrication.

Top Notes: The initial impression of Eight & Bob Nuit De Megève is a captivating blend of invigorating Black Coffee, its bitter aroma intertwined with the powdery sweetness of Orris. A warm, comforting aura is added by the presence of Tonka Bean, lending its characteristic vanilla-like nuances.
Heart Notes: As the top notes subside, the heart of the fragrance unfolds, revealing an earthy and woody character. Moss provides a damp, forest floor aroma, while Tobacco adds a smooth, subtly sweet and smoky facet. The heart is anchored by the deep, earthy presence of Vetiver, adding a touch of dryness and sophistication.
Base Notes: The lingering base notes of Nuit De Megève offer a warm and spicy embrace. A touch of piquancy is provided by Clove buds, their spicy warmth complementing the other base notes. A surprising twist of freshness comes from Grapefruit, adding a bright, citrusy counterpoint. Petitgrain, with its dry, woody, and slightly bitter aroma reminiscent of leaves and twigs, completes the base, reinforcing the overall woody and earthy theme of the fragrance.
