The constant search for qualitative raw materials is crucial for the achievement of a great result. The same formula performed with materials coming from different suppliers will sort out a different olfactory profile.
My perfumes are conceived in my laboratory in Amsterdam. When the formula is ready, I can finally order the raw materials in order to mix them.
The resulting concentrate is then sent out to an artisanal atelier in Italy which put it in alcohol, let it age, and then take care of packing it.
The creation of a perfume is a very long and complex process, and it takes me a hermit life to devise a formula which I then blend, holding my breath at every drop I add as in a sacred ritual.
At those ecstatic and silent moments, I feel like an alchemist which – through a transformation – gives birth to something new, which is not the simple addition of different materials.
After I graduated in History of Art in Florence, my passion for perfume making started, by a book on natural perfumery and a handful of essential oils. Since then, I’ve been studying and experimenting on my own. I have resided in many cities – Florence, Berlin, Luxembourg, Amsterdam – while working in art book publishing.
Once in Amsterdam – where I currently live – I decided to quit my previous job and launch my own line of perfumes.

Some years ago, she moved to Amsterdam and set up her own lab. There she is in charge of the full process, starting with the creation of the new perfume and finishing with its bottling.
She used the experience she had gained to create her own label. Cuir Soyeux and The Lover's Tale are some of her creations. You can find some of them at BeautyTheShop.

Top Notes: The initial impression is likely bright and captivating, potentially featuring citrus notes like bergamot or mandarin, combined with aromatic herbs such as lavender or clary sage. A touch of spice, perhaps pink pepper or elemi, could add a vibrant touch.
Heart Notes: As the fragrance develops, a rich floral heart emerges, possibly showcasing opulent blooms like rose, jasmine, or tuberose. A powdery nuance from iris or heliotrope could intertwine with a creamy, lactonic accord, adding depth and complexity. A hint of fruit, such as peach or plum, might further enhance the richness.
Base Notes: The lingering dry down is expected to be warm and sensual, anchored by a blend of woods, resins, and musks. Sandalwood, cedarwood, or patchouli could provide an earthy foundation, while benzoin, labdanum, or vanilla add a touch of sweetness and depth. Ambergris or a musky accord would contribute to the overall longevity and sensuality of the fragrance.
