Absolu Aventus starts off quite sharp, almost a bit too much citrus for me initially. But give it half an hour. The dry down is where it shines – a smoky, woody base with hints of vanilla. It's potent stuff; two sprays is plenty. My only slight gripe is it's a tad linear after the initial burst.
