I spent ages comparing this to other boozy scents. I was looking at some from Xerjoff and Initio, but this Kilian just has something special. It's pricey, sure, but the longevity and the unique apple pie/cognac smell make it worth the splurge for me. It's a real compliment getter.

The opening is gorgeous - that cognac note is just intoxicating. It dries down to a sweeter, more powdery scent, which is nice, but I wish that initial boozy kick lasted longer. Still, a very good fragrance.

I used to wear a spicier, more intense fragrance, but this is a nice change. It's still got depth, but it's sweeter and more approachable. I really like the vanilla dry down.
