As a Memo Paris fan, this one doesn't disappoint. It's floral, but with a lovely honeyed sweetness. I get a hint of vanilla too. It's lighter than some of their other offerings, like African Leather, but still has that signature Memo quality.

I was a bit skeptical about buying this online without smelling it first, but the notes sounded interesting. I've been wearing it for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised. It's definitely a fragrance that shines in warmer weather. I think it might be too heavy for the dead of summer, but spring and early fall? Perfect. It lasts a good while on my skin, too.

Ilha Do Mel is quite interesting. Initially, the honey note is very prominent, almost overwhelmingly sweet. After about an hour, it settles down and the floral notes start to emerge, giving it a more balanced feel. The dry down is a pleasant mix of amber and vanilla, lasting a good 6-7 hours on my skin. My only minor complaint is the initial honey blast could be toned down a tad.
