Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Skin Refining Serum main ingredients
Hyaluronic Acid: is manufactured by skin cells and forms part of the skin's connective tissue. One of its main functions is to retain moisture: it has the ability to bind between 1000 and 10 000 times its own weight in water (i.e. one gram binds between one and ten litres). As we age, the skin's natural ability to produce hyaluronic acid is reduced, and this is when wrinkles begin to form and become more pronounced.
Glycolic acid: is a common chemical peel used by many dermatologists. It is an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), derived from sugar cane, with an extremely small molecular size. Its function is to remove dead skin cells to even out skin texture. The concentration of glycolic acid used in Skin Refinig Serum is lower than that used in dermatological treatments so that the effect is gentler and better tolerated by the skin.
Lactic Acid: is a gentle exfoliant and moisturiser. Unlike other acids, it dissolves impurities and clogged pores while improving the skin's moisture factor.
Antioxidants: UV rays, pollution or even factors such as stress or an active lifestyle can activate oxidative stress from free radicals, which accelerates skin cell damage. Antioxidants such as alpha-glucosyl rutin (Agr) and sodium ascorbyl phosphate (derived from Vitamin C) work to effectively neutralise free radicals and protect cells to reinforce the skin's natural defences.
How is it applied?
After cleansing and toning, apply Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Skin Refining Serum in the morning or evening.
It is recommended to use a day moisturiser with SPF after using Eucerin Hyaluron-Filler Skin Refining Serum and for one week after treatment.
