Julien Rasquinet learnt his skills from the master perfumer Pierre Bourdon, who chose him as his student, even thought there were lots of candidates who wanted to learn from him. In the past, Edmond Roudnitska chose Pierre Bourdon as his one and only student, and some years later, Pierre chose Julien. That is how the technique and art of perfumery was handed down from master to student, leading to iconic fragrances.
According to Julien, “the aim of a creation is to cause an emotion”. This has inspired him to elaborated excellent perfumes such as Acqua Originale Vetiver Geraniun, Royal Oud and The Moon.
