Hamid Merati-Kashani is a perfumer who was born in Germany, but who grew up in Iran. His interest about perfumery, his job and passion, started in Ghamsar, a city located in the central desert of Iran, also known as the city of roses. In this city, he visited there a field of roses and immediately got attracted by the harvest and distillation of roses.
