Femibion 2 28 tablets and 28 capsules

Developed to support you and your baby's special needs from week 13 of pregnancy until birth, as a complement to a varied diet. From week 13 of pregnancy, your baby begins an incredible growth phase. At this point, we recommend switching to Femibion® 2. This food supplement provides you with folates and DHA. Folate remains important later in pregnancy as it contributes to the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy, including the formation of the placenta. The placenta provides the baby with all the nutrients. Therefore, care should be taken to have adequate folate intake throughout pregnancy. In addition to folates and DHA, Femibion® 2 contains other carefully selected ingredients: 10 vitamins, including vitamin D, iodine, as well as iron, selenium, magnesium, zinc and lutein. Femibion® 2 includes lutein and the omega-3 fatty acid DHA in an additional capsule. Lutein gives the capsule its characteristic color.
Composition:

Femibion® 2 Pregnancy provides you with the following nutrients:
FOLIC ACID A B vitamin that is converted to folate in the body. Folate contributes to the normal formation of blood cells, the process of cell division and the growth of maternal tissues during pregnancy.
METAFOLIN® An “active form” of folate, which is directly available in your body and does not need to be transformed. Metafolin® is a registered trademark of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany.
LUTEIN It is a carotenoid found in several plants, including many fruits and vegetables. It gives the characteristic color to the capsule.
DHA That is, docosahexaenoic acid, an omega-3 fatty acid that plays a special role during pregnancy and lactation. It is recommended that pregnant and breastfeeding women take an additional 200 mg of DHA daily, as it contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the fetus and breastfed infant. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg of DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of omega-3 fatty acids for adults, i.e. 250 mg of DHA and EPA. IODINE Contributes to normal production of thyroid hormones and normal thyroid function.
VITAMIN D and ZINC They contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system and the process of cell division.
VITAMIN B1, VITAMIN B2 and BIOTIN They contribute to normal energy metabolism and the normal functioning of the nervous system.
VITAMIN B6, VITAMIN B12, NIACIN and PANTOTHENIC ACID They help reduce tiredness and fatigue.
VITAMIN C and SELENIUM They contribute to the normal functioning of the immune system.
MAGNESIUM and IRON They contribute to normal energy metabolism and help reduce tiredness and fatigue.
VITAMIN E Contributes to the protection of cells against oxidative damage.
Allergens/Intolerances:
Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components.
How to use:
Take 1 tablet and 1 capsule a day with enough water.
Warnings and conservation:
Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. It should not be consumed by children. Keep out of the reach of little kids. Food supplements should not be used as substitutes for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.
