Reach over your head with your opposite hand and pull your ear upward and slightly outward. 4. Carefully insert the rolled earplug into your ear canal, pushing it in just far enough to create a comfortable and effective seal. Do not push too deeply. 5. Hold the earplug in place for a few seconds while it expands to fill the ear canal. 6. Repeat steps 2-5 for the other ear. 7. To remove, gently grasp the stem of the earplug and slowly pull it outwards. Do not twist or yank.
