Roche Reflotron Triglycerides 30 Test

Test for the quantitative determination of triglycerides in blood, serum and plasma with Reflotron measuring devices Normal values (adults): 200 mg/dl, (2, 3 mmol/l).
Triglycerides are one of the cardiovascular risk factors along with cholesterol and glucose.
Triglyceride measurements are used for the early detection of a risk of atherosclerosis and for the classification of hyperlipoproteinaemia as well as for the control of dietary and drug therapy.
The measuring principle is based on the reflection of light on the test strip containing a chromogenic substrate.
The reagent strip has a magnetic strip containing all method-specific information necessary for fully automated execution and calibration of the device.
Sample collection Capillary blood collected with capillaries ( 391144), whole blood collected with conventional standard sample collection tubes, the serum obtained from it, heparinised or EDTA blood, heparinised or EDTA plasma.
