Hamid Merati-Kashani is a perfumer born in Germany and raised in Iran. His passion and profession began in a city nestled in the central desert of Iran called Ghamsar, also known as the city of roses. There, a visit to a rose plantation sparked his interest in the world of rose harvesting and distillation.
