Vitamin D3+K2
The key pair of vitamins designed to improve a multitude of functions in our body, including:

Why have we added vitamin K2 to vitamin D3?
First of all, it is not just any vitamin K2, it is the best patent on the market and with the most scientific studies and this is vitamin K2 menaquinone 7.
This vitamin, which, although it has a similar name, has nothing to do with vitamin K1 (involved in coagulation) is responsible for directing the dietary calcium that you absorb thanks to vitamin D to your bones, preventing it from being deposited in your arteries, contributing to the development of atherosclerotic plaques.
On the other hand, vitamin K2 activates bone-producing cells, osteoblasts, helping the calcium that reaches your bones to be integrated into them and thus maintain adequate health and bone metabolism.
Finally, the latest studies show that vitamin K2 can help reduce age-related arterial stiffness and contributes to the appearance or worsening of high blood pressure.
Why that amount of vitamin D3 and not higher like other supplements on the market?
Because at IVB we do not believe in the saying “more is better” but in the saying “better is better”.
Thus, today, there is no evidence that for the general population it is more effective to administer large amounts of vitamin D to reach optimal values of 30-45 ng/dL of 25OH vitamin D3 in the blood. At IVB we prefer to use a lower dose but this ensures that there are no problems with excess vitamin D3 and that over time you can reach and maintain adequate and safe levels of vitamin D3.
