Vitex agnus castus: The terpenoid compounds of the natural extract of vitex such as agnusides, allow to improve, among other conditions, the symptoms derived from excess prolactin such as: a shortened luteal phase, menstrual pain, premenstrual dysphoric syndrome or increased synthesis of adrenal androgens .
Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5): water-soluble vitamin responsible for the physiological synthesis of sex hormones or vitamin D. Therefore, the main objective of the inclusion of pantothenic acid is to ensure correct levels that allow optimizing the synthesis and function of these hormones and essential vitamin for correct balance.
Can I take FemmeBalance if I am taking birth control?
Yes, FemmeBalance does not reduce the contraceptive effectiveness of the contraceptive pill, ring or IUD.
