Here's how to properly apply a sterile, waterproof post-operative plaster: First, gently cleanse and thoroughly dry the area around the wound. Ensure the skin is free from oils, lotions, or debris.
Carefully peel back the protective paper backing of the plaster, avoiding touching the adhesive surface.
Position the pad directly over the wound, ensuring it's centered.
Smooth down the adhesive edges of the plaster, pressing firmly to create a secure, waterproof seal.
Make sure there are no wrinkles or air pockets. For optimal results, change the plaster every 24-48 hours, or more frequently if it becomes soiled or the wound is weeping.
It's crucial to monitor the wound for signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, pain, or discharge. If any of these occur, consult a healthcare professional immediately.
This type of plaster is designed for single use only. Do not reuse.

Polyurethane Film, Absorbent Pad (Viscose, Polypropylene), Polyethylene Net, Acrylic Adhesive, Benzalkonium Chloride

Single use only. Do not use if package is damaged or open. Sterile unless package is opened or damaged. If redness, swelling, pain or irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. The presence of Benzalkonium Chloride is intended to provide an antibacterial action within the pad and should not be considered a substitute for proper wound care and hygiene. People with known sensitivity to Benzalkonium Chloride or acrylic adhesives should avoid contact with this product. Keep out of reach of children.
