OXYGENATED WATER 250 ML 1UD KERN 4.9% disinfectant for general topical use, used for wound washing, ulcers, and for the separation of dressings attached to the skin.
Features
It is an oxidizing substance of synthetic origin capable of breaking down in contact with the enzyme catalase, present in all animal tissues, releasing oxygen.
It originates 17 volumes of oxygen, producing deodorizing action. This decomposition can be done spontaneously, by which a stabilizer is added, in order to inhibit the reaction.
Indications
General topical disinfectant, used for wound washing, ulcers, and for the separation of dressings attached to the skin.
Diluted with 3-4 parts warm water, it is used as a mouth deodorant as a rinse.
It also acts as a deodorant and discolorant of the hair.
Composition
Aqueous solution of Hydrogen Peroxide at 5.1 % w/v (equivalent to 17 volumes of active oxygen) to which a phosphate mixture based on 0.051 % pyrophosphate is added as a stabilizer.
