Instructions for Use:
1. Clean the tip: Before each use, clean the thermometer tip with a cotton swab moistened with isopropyl alcohol. Allow to air dry.
2. Turn on: Press the power button. The display will show a self-test and then the last recorded temperature.
3. Position the thermometer: For oral use, place the flexible tip under the tongue towards the back of the mouth. Close your lips gently around the thermometer.
For axillary use (underarm), place the tip under the arm and hold the arm firmly against the body.
Do not use rectally.
4. Wait for the signal: The thermometer will beep when the measurement is complete. The reading will then be displayed.
5. Read the temperature: Note the temperature reading on the display.
6. Turn off: Press the power button to turn off the thermometer. It will automatically shut off after a period of inactivity.
7. Clean after use: Clean the thermometer tip again as described in step 1.
