Sterile, single-use, breathable dressing consisting of a low-adherent, micro-perforated polypropylene contact layer thermobonded to a gauze mesh to drain exudates by capillarity to the cotton bulk and not macerate the wound.
The central cotton layer provides high absorption capacity, as well as cushioning and protection of the injured area. The dressing is closed on the outside by a hydrophilic, non-fraying gauze mesh. They allow and protect the topical application of medication.
