Product features:
- First Aid: Plasters and Dressings
Product Reference: #164186
Directions for Use: 1. Wash and dry the wound and surrounding skin thoroughly. 2. Open the pouch and carefully remove the plaster, avoiding touching the adhesive pad. 3. Peel off one side of the protective film (blue flap). 4. Position the plaster centrally over the wound, ensuring the adhesive pad fully covers the affected area. 5. Smooth the plaster down firmly, working from the centre outwards. 6. Remove the remaining protective film (blue flap). 7. Press the edges of the plaster to ensure a secure seal.
Recommended Frequency: Change the plaster daily or more frequently if necessary, such as when it becomes wet or soiled. Inspect the wound regularly. If signs of infection develop (increased pain, redness, swelling, or pus), discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional.
Additional Tips: For optimal wound healing, keep the wound clean and dry. Do not stretch the plaster during application, as this may reduce its effectiveness. Avoid applying lotions or creams directly to the wound before applying the plaster. These plasters are suitable for larger wounds such as burns and surgical wounds. If the plaster adheres to hair, wet the area before removal to minimize discomfort. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
