Instructions for Use: 1. Cleanse the wound area thoroughly with a suitable wound cleanser and ensure it is dry. 2. Open the sterile packaging carefully, avoiding touching the dressing surface. 3. Remove the protective backing from the dressing. 4. Apply the Leukomed Sorbact Dressing directly onto the wound, ensuring full contact. 5. Secure the dressing in place with a suitable bandage or tape, avoiding excessive pressure. 6. Do not stretch the dressing during application.
Recommended Frequency: Change the dressing daily or as needed, depending on the wound condition and the amount of exudate. If the dressing adheres to the wound, moisten it with sterile saline solution before removal to minimize trauma.
Additional Tips: For optimal results, ensure the wound area is clean and dry before applying the dressing.
Do not use the dressing on heavily bleeding wounds.
