Directions for Use: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. 2. Inspect the syringe for any damage or defects. Do not use if the packaging is opened or damaged. 3. Prepare the insulin vial according to your doctor's instructions. This may involve gently rolling the vial to mix the insulin. 4. Remove the protective cap from the syringe needle. 5. Draw air into the syringe equal to the insulin dose you need. 6. Insert the needle into the insulin vial and inject the air. 7. Invert the vial and draw the correct dose of insulin into the syringe. 8. Check for air bubbles in the syringe. If present, gently tap the syringe to move the bubbles to the top and push them out. 9. Clean the injection site with an alcohol swab. 10. Pinch the skin at the injection site. 11. Insert the needle at a 45-90 degree angle, depending on your body fat and doctor's instructions. 12. Inject the insulin slowly and steadily. 13. Release the pinched skin and withdraw the needle. 14. Press lightly on the injection site with a clean cotton ball. Do not rub. 15. Dispose of the used syringe safely in a sharps container.
