Product features:
- First Aid: Accessories
Product Reference: #250089
Directions for Use: 1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water before and after applying the dressing. 2. Gently clean the wound area with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a clean cloth or gauze. 3. Ensure the skin around the wound is dry. 4. Peel open the 3M Medipore Pad packaging, being careful not to touch the adhesive side of the pad. 5. Center the absorbent pad over the wound. 6. Smooth the adhesive border onto the surrounding skin, ensuring good contact. 7. Do not stretch the dressing during application.
Recommended Frequency: Change the dressing daily or more frequently if it becomes wet, soiled, or the adhesive loses its grip. Inspect the wound regularly for any signs of infection.
Additional Tips: For optimal wound healing, keep the wound clean and dry. Do not reuse the dressing. If the wound shows signs of infection (increased redness, swelling, pain, or pus), consult a healthcare professional. If the dressing sticks to the wound, moisten it with sterile saline solution before removal to minimize discomfort. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
Non-woven rayon, Polyacrylate adhesive, Absorbent pad (rayon/cellulose blend), Silicone coated paper liner
WARNINGS: Sterile unless package is opened or damaged. Not intended for use on heavily draining wounds. If signs of infection occur, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. In case of skin irritation or discomfort, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional. Single use only.
