Goldfield & Banks is a combination of Australia's native botanicals and French expertise. They use rare ingredients barely used in modern perfumes harvested in Australia, paying homage to its first botanist, Joseph Banks. Then, these ingredients are combined with scents from all around the world and are sent to France to be blended with organic beetroot alcohol and be bottled.
These marvellous fragrances are crafted by Dimitri Weber, its founder, in collaboration with renowned perfumers. Dimitri is a French-Belgian perfumer who fell in love with this mysterious land on a trip, and decided to capture its essence.
Dimitri’s high concentration fragrances contain at least 20% of scented essences, an incomparable olfactory experience, depicting hot deserts, crystal-clear waters and deep forests, a captivating Australian dream.

About Sunset Hour:
Fun and frivolous from the onset, Sunset Hour opens with a crisp pear, mandarin and desert peach accord – a tart peach- and rhubarb-nuanced fruity note with a distinctive salt crusted, sun-kissed skin feel. Carrying through the heart, jasmine’s rich white floralcy with green mango, ginger and coconut cream enhance the tropical exoticism of the desert peach as pink pepper lends sharpness to this central ingredient’s tartness. All the while, Australian sandalwood, itself a close relative of the Quandong, provides a spiced-green-woodsy springboard for the fruity decadence of the coconut and desert peach, which carry through to the plush musk-vanilla base.

Top Notes: The fragrance opens with a vibrant and joyful burst of pear, Italian Mandarin, and Australian Desert Peach (Quandong). This initial accord offers a tart, fruity aroma with nuances of rhubarb and a unique sun-kissed skin effect, reminiscent of salt-crusted fruit.
Heart Notes: As the top notes subside, a rich floral heart emerges, dominated by Jasmine Sambac Absolute. This is complemented by tropical nuances of green mango, Nigerian Ginger, and creamy coconut. Pink Pepper from Madagascar adds a touch of spice and enhances the tartness of the desert peach, creating a complex and exotic middle layer.
Base Notes: The long-lasting base of Sunset Hour is built upon a warm and sensual foundation of Australian Sandalwood, which echoes the woody-green facets of the desert peach.
