Smooth the adhesive edges of the dressing firmly against the skin, ensuring a secure seal. 5. Avoid stretching the dressing during application to prevent discomfort and ensure proper adhesion.
Recommended Frequency:
Change the dressing daily or as needed, or if it becomes wet or dirty. Inspect the wound regularly.
Additional Tips:
For optimal protection, ensure the dressing completely covers the wound and extends slightly beyond its edges.
For wounds on joints like elbows and knees, avoid applying the dressing too tightly to allow for comfortable movement.
