Directions for Use:

1. Thoroughly cleanse the wound area with a suitable wound cleanser and gently dry the surrounding skin.
2. Carefully remove the protective release liner from the Mepiform dressing.
3. Apply the Mepiform dressing directly onto the wound bed, ensuring it extends at least 2 cm beyond the wound margins onto the surrounding healthy skin.
4. Gently smooth the dressing to ensure good contact with the skin and avoid wrinkles.
5. Leave the Mepiform dressing in place for up to 14 days, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Recommended Frequency:

Mepiform can be left in place for up to 14 days. The frequency of dressing changes will depend on the amount of exudate and the clinical condition of the wound. Your healthcare professional will determine the appropriate dressing change schedule for your specific needs.

Additional Tips:

1. Mepiform is designed to be used as a primary contact layer and should be used in conjunction with a secondary absorbent dressing if the wound is exuding.
2. Do not stretch the dressing during application.
3. If the dressing needs to be removed before 14 days, gently lift the edge and peel it away from the skin. Avoid pulling the dressing directly upwards. 4. Mepiform can be used on a variety of wounds, including burns, abrasions, surgical incisions, and ulcers. Consult with your healthcare professional to determine if Mepiform is appropriate for your specific wound. 5. If you experience any signs of infection, such as increased pain, redness, swelling, or discharge, contact your healthcare professional immediately.
