Steri Strip Skin Suture Strips 75mm X 3mm

Directions for Use:

1. Clean and dry the wound thoroughly. Ensure the skin surrounding the wound is free of any oils or lotions. 2. If bleeding, apply pressure until it stops. 3. Peel a Steri-Strip from its backing. Avoid touching the adhesive part.
4. Holding the skin taut on either side of the wound, apply the first Steri-Strip across the wound, bringing the edges together. Do not stretch the strip.
5. Apply additional Steri-Strips parallel to the first one, spacing them about 1/8 inch (3mm) apart, overlapping slightly, until the wound is closed. Ensure the wound is not under tension.
6. Smooth down each strip to ensure good adhesion. 7. Trim any excess strip material.

Recommended Frequency:

Leave Steri-Strips in place for 5-10 days, or until they fall off naturally. Do not attempt to pull them off prematurely.

Additional Tips:

1. For optimal adhesion, avoid applying over joints or areas of high movement. 2. Keep the area dry. Short showers are permissible, but avoid soaking the wound. 3. If the strips become loose or dirty, replace them with new ones. 4. If the wound shows signs of infection (increased redness, swelling, pain, or pus), consult a healthcare professional immediately. 5. Do not use on deep or jagged wounds, animal bites, or puncture wounds. Seek medical advice for these types of injuries.
