D.S. & Durga is named after its founders, Kavi, (a.k.a Durga), an architect and David (a.k.a D.S.) a self-taught perfumer. This brand is a high perfumery brand based in Brooklyn, therefore New York DNA can be found in each of their creations, they even still create make all of their fragrances in their tiny apartment.
Each perfume tells us a different story, and each scent has its own playlist on Spotify. They create a perfume for anything they love: music, nature, art… There is a whole world inside each bottle. Their moto, perfume is an armchair travel, is based on the belief that “the power of scent is equal to that of sight and sound”.

Yet entire folk histories inhabit the cracks and crevices of the land. Caves are gateways to lairs of sorcerers. Valleys are watched over by protecting gods. The scale may be quaint, but the lands implied beyond are infinite.
