The Actimove® Rhizo Forte with its unique design and functionality provides reliable support for the injured area, along with high patient comfort. Actimove® Rhizo Forte is a thumb orthosis for the management of painful conditions and irritations of the thumb joints associated with chronic or acute indications.
The brace immobilizes the carpometacarpal (CMC) and the first metacarpophalangeal (MCP 1) joints and places the thumb in a functional position. Material composition includes primarily thermoplastic polyurethane, a core out of aluminum alloy and straps made out of polyamide with a latex free formulation. It is easy to clean and machine washable.

Instructions for Use: 1. Open all straps and position the orthosis with the palmar stay along the palm of your left hand. 2. Insert your thumb into the thumb compartment, ensuring a comfortable fit. 3. Close the wrist strap first, adjusting the tightness for support without restricting circulation. 4. Fasten the thumb strap securely, ensuring the thumb is held in a functional position. 5. Adjust the forearm strap for additional support and stability as needed.


Recommended Frequency: Follow your healthcare professional's recommendations for wearing time. Generally, the orthosis can be worn during the day and removed at night, unless otherwise advised. Do not wear the orthosis for longer periods than prescribed.


Additional Tips: 1. Consult with a physician or therapist for proper diagnosis and treatment plan. 2. Ensure the orthosis fits snugly but does not restrict blood flow. 3. If you experience any discomfort, redness, or numbness, discontinue use and consult your healthcare professional. 4. Hand wash the orthosis with mild soap and water. Air dry completely before reapplying. 5. Do not use heat or machine dry. 6. For optimal hygiene, wear a clean cotton sock under the orthosis. 7. Regularly check the orthosis for signs of wear and tear and replace if necessary.
