The Actimove® Rhizo Forte thumb orthosis from BSN medical is the unique support that restricts the movement of the thumb while maintaining the functionality of the hand. Immobilisation of the carpometacarpal joint and the metacarpophalangeal joint occurs without restricting the movement of the wrist and the other four fingers. Actimove® Rhizo Forte has a mouldable aluminium core that easily adjusts for a perfect fit, offering the best combination of stability and functionality. It is made of dirt- and water-repellent materials for easy hygiene and its low-profile design with smooth edges provides great wearing comfort.

How to Use: 1. Open the Actimove® Rhizo Forte. 2. Place your thumb inside the support, ensuring the carpometacarpal joint and metacarpophalangeal joint are correctly positioned within the brace. 3. Secure the straps to provide a snug but comfortable fit. Avoid overtightening. 4. The aluminium core can be carefully moulded to achieve a personalized fit and optimal support. Consult a healthcare professional if needed. 5. Ensure the wrist and other four fingers have unrestricted movement. Removal: To remove, simply unfasten the straps and gently slide your thumb out of the support.


Recommended Frequency: The Actimove® Rhizo Forte can be worn throughout the day and/or night, depending on your individual needs and as advised by your healthcare professional. Continuous use is generally recommended during activities that aggravate your thumb condition. Remove the brace periodically to allow for skin hygiene and breathability.


Additional Tips: Consult a healthcare professional for proper diagnosis and treatment of your thumb condition before using this product. Ensure proper fit to maximize support and comfort.
